Ingredients

STEP 1

Cover the bottom of a springform pan with sliced bread.

STEP 2

Prepare a syrup by boiling sugar and water. Add lemon juice and flavorings.

STEP 3

Pour part of the hot syrup over the bread.

STEP 4

Press with a fork and add more syrup as needed. Set aside.

STEP 5

Process the bread until reduced to crumbs.

STEP 6

Whisk the milk and cornstarch in a small pot.

STEP 7

Mix in the sugar, heavy cream and bread crumbs.

STEP 8

Heat until thickened. Then add the orange blossom water.

STEP 9

Spread the ashta cream over the sweetened bread.

STEP 10

Cover fully with chopped pistachios.

 Enjoy!

Chill until firm then serve!
