No Chill Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients

chocolate, coarsely chopped butter flour cocoa powder baking powder  salt eggs  sugar dark (or light) brown sugar vanilla extract powdered (icing) sugar

STEP 1

Melt the chocolate and butter in the microwave in 10-20 seconds increments, stirring in-between.

STEP 2

Whisk the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt together in a bowl. Set aside.

STEP 3

Beat the eggs and sugar in a mixing bowl until lightened in color and slightly thickened.

STEP 4

Add the vanilla extract and chocolate mixture and mix until combined.

STEP 5

Fold in the flour. Cover and let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.

STEP 6

Take out about 35 g (1.2 oz.) of dough and roll first in granulated sugar then powdered sugar.

STEP 7

Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake just until the edges have set.
