Easy  Crème Brûlée

Ingredients

heavy cream milk vanilla bean (or extract) egg yolks sugar

Directions

Heat the milk, heavy cream and vanilla bean (scraped).

Turn off the heat. Cover and let it steep for 15 minutes.

Gently mix the egg yolks and sugar until combined.

Directions

Slowly pour the hot liquids over the egg mixture whilst stirring.

Strain into a measuring cup.

Fill the ramekins and bake in a water bath.

 Enjoy!

Sprinkle sugar on the chilled (baked) custards. Caramelize with a kitchen torch and enjoy!
