Meghli  (Spiced Pudding)

Ingredients

rice flour  sugar  ground caraway ground cinnamon ground anise (optional) water  shredded coconut nuts

STEP 1

Whisk together the rice flour, sugar and spices.

STEP 2

Pour the water over the dry ingredients and whisk until combined.

STEP 3

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.

STEP 4

Reduce the heat and keep heating until the meghli coats the back of a spoon.

STEP 5

Remove from the heat and pour into desired serving bowls (or dish).

STEP 6

Cool down at room temperature then cover and chill. Decorate with coconut and nuts just before serving.
