Chocolate Tart Crust

Ingredients

butter powdered sugar almond flour  egg  vanilla extract flour  cocoa powder salt

STEP 1

Mix the powdered sugar and softened butter with a spatula until fully combined.

STEP 2

Mix in the almond flour then add the egg and vanilla extract.

STEP 3

Sift together the flour and cocoa powder into another bowl then whisk in the salt.

STEP 4

Transfer onto a work surface and create a well. Pour the butter mixture in the middle.

STEP 5

Using a dough scraper, “cut” through the dough in small, vertical movements until it can be gathered into a ball.

STEP 6

Flatten the dough into a rectangle with your hands. Wrap tightly and chill.

STEP 7

Roll out the dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper. Line your tart pan. Prick with a fork and bake.

STEP 8

Cool completely on a wire rack then fill as desired. Enjoy!
