Strawberry Sorbet

Ingredients

fresh strawberries sugar lemon juice salt

STEP 1

Hull the strawberries then cut them in half and puree them.

STEP 2

Strain (if desired) through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl.

STEP 3

Mix in the sugar, lemon juice and salt. Let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes.

STEP 4

Pour into a frozen baking pan. Cover and freeze for about an hour.

STEP 5

Take the strawberry sorbet out of the freezer and break up the ice crystals formed.

STEP 6

Repeat every hour, 3 more times. The more you do this, the smoother the sorbet will be.

 Enjoy!

Serve immediately or freeze until completely firm.
